Who We’re Looking For

  • Age & Education – You must be 17+ with a high-school diploma or qualify as a Mature Student (19+) who can demonstrate readiness through an interview and past experience.
  • Language Skills – If English isn’t your first language, plan to show IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 46, or CLB 6+.
  • Drive & Professionalism – A relaxed one-on-one interview help us see your goals and passion for the industry.
  • ID & Status – Bring government photo ID; international students staying 6 + months also need proof of legal status in Canada.

Step-by-Step Application Process

1. Attend an Academy Information Session & Tour

Your journey begins at our monthly group information session, held on the third Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m. You will explore our 3,220 sq ft downtown Victoria space, attend a program presentation, get an admissions overview, and participate in a live Q&A.

Can't make it to the campus in person? Virtual Zoom information sessions are fully available.

2. Book Your 1-on-1 Interview

After attending the information session, if you decide you want to pursue a spot in an upcoming cohort, you will book a personal interview with our Admissions Director to share your career vision and ask any specific questions.

3. Review Enrollment & Secure Your Spot

Following a successful interview, you will submit your required admission documentation. Once satisfied, we will send over your official acceptance, enrollment agreement, and program timeline. Pay your deposit, finalize your kit, and your chair is locked in!

4. Mandatory Student Orientation

Held on Day 1 prior to the first day of classes, this session prepares you for success. You will get familiar with academy policies, attendance expectations, health and safety procedures, student services, and our technology platforms so you can start styling with confidence.
